COOKING WITH PERENNIAL VEGETABLES

DESCRIPTION: This class will cover some of the wonderful perennial vegetables that thrive in our subtropical climate, and how to prepare and cook these versatile crops. We will cover plants ranging from Chaya, to yams, to lemongrass, and turmeric. We will make a couple of side dishes and drinks during this educational, botanical, cooking demonstration. Plants covered in this class will be available for purchase before and after the class session.

Taught by Taylor Walker of Green Dreams, an experienced Permaculture designer, horticulturalist, and educator, who has hosted classes at many botanical gardens, extension offices, universities and botanical interest groups.
